Experience with Londoncountrytours private tour of London and Windsor,Eton, Hampton?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering whether anybody have had experience with the above private tour company...If not, we will be happy to share our experience after we have had the tour in a few months...

We selected to book with http://www.londoncountrytours.co.uk out of the 15 plus companies we have looked at because it not only has the best price, (even as compared to the tours with 30-40 people on it), the owner David Stubbs has also been very prompt in replying to our e-mails and so accommodating to our many requests...We are very excited that our family of 3 will have a private tour of Hampton Court, Eton College, and Windsor Castle, lunch near the river Thames etc...(especially after having recently watched the Royal Wedding!). We will actually have this tour on our 21 th Wedding anniversary day, and want to treat ourselves to a very pleasant, and relaxing day!

We would have used this private tour for London as well since we will only have one day there to cover all the sites, but will probably use "hop on hop off" and taxis instead since we will probably so tired after having flown in from California, and want to have more flexibility. Wish we would have more days pre-cruise in London to visit Oxford University, Bath, Stonehenge, etc!!!

We indeed had a very relaxing, productive, and informative day with David. He was punctual and reliable in picking us up from our Hotel in Central London. We were able to visit all the above mentioned sites and more. We were very pleased with the tour as David was knowledgeable and constientious about his work. We wished we would have booked him for the day prior for a tour of London as well!
