Shopping in Ocho Rios?

Where besides the mall where Margaritaville is,

Is there to shop?

Done all the excursions before and just want to get some gifts.

Where should we go to shop where it is safe?

If you walk out past the 'Island Village' shopping area (where M'ville is located) you follow the road to the left and you will come to the Taj Mahal shopping area. I think it's still there. That's where we used to go. If you follow along another block or two you will find the OR craft market. It's fun (if you like that kind of thing) to bargain with the local women. We enjoy it very much. Many people find it "scary" or "threatening", we know it to be their culture and join in the fun.

 

From the pictures I just looked at, it appears this is where the Hard Rock Cafe is located. Seems to be still there and open!
