Bus to Doctors Cave Beach from Falmouth

After much research it seems that there are two options to get to DCB on your own. It seems one option is to take a bus for $20 per person round trip. Has anyone done this? What is the bus like? Does it run a regular schedule? Does it pick you up near port and drop you off close to the beach entrance? Can you come back when you want of do you have to wait for a certain time? Is it a "locals" bus or just something that cruise passangers use? The other option seem to be to take a taxi. It looks like this is $60 each way. Does the driver stay with you or are there other taxis waiting for you to leave at DCB. Thanks in advance!
