When to Book New Years Cruise - Now or on our Cruise in March?

We've decided to spend this coming New Years on the Splendor leaving LA on December 30th. Right now, I get on Outside cabin for approx $860pp. We're going to be on the Spirit early next month, and my DH thought we might benefit by waiting and booking on the Spirit (OBC or something). Knowing that these holiday cruises tend to spike up quickly...I'm afraid we'll end up paying more if we wait even a month.

I booked our New Years cruise a month ago and the price hasn't changed. I watch every day hoping it will go down.
