lovevacadays Posted February 11, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2012 We ate at Breezes by the Bay. It is within walking distance of the pier. You can google it and see their menu and you can ask for directions once you get off the ship. Very easy. The food was good - not fabulous - but good. And the Hurricane Drinks were great. We found the prices pretty good. Not as bad as we had expected from reading about the high food prices. We also enjoyed the view of the main drag and people watching combined with an oceanview and views of the ships in port.

Dah-Zeee Posted February 13, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 13, 2012 We liked Hammerheads. The conch fitters and the pulled pork sammish were awesome. Washed down with a caybrew and a seven and ginger. (Seven Fathoms rum and ginger ale.
1stcruiser1 Posted February 13, 2012 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2012 How far is Hammerheads- can you give directions please and thanks!
Dah-Zeee Posted February 13, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 13, 2012 Sure! From the tender let off point we turned left and walked about two blocks-ish maybe a block. It's next to the fish market. (that's what the locals call it but it's just some tables on the beach where fisherman sell their catch). It wasn't far at all. (there is a dairy queen across the street if that helps) I don't remember the name of the "pier" area we were let off (there are two, the other is farther down) at but if I remember right "Breezes" was directly in front of the drop off point. Seven Fathoms Below rum distillery is housed above it and they give free tours. Hammerheads has a nice list of beverages featuring their rum. Have a great time.
