livingskies78 Posted February 5, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2012 We need to get from Port Everglade (Oasis of the Seas) to Orlando Airport (MCO) Is it easier to rent a car from the airport or right at the dock, and if so which companies. We will need a van as we have 5 people Thanks

We will need a van as we have 5 people Thanks I don't believe there are any rental agencies at the dock. You would need to be shuttled to a rental location either near the port (port area hotels) or to the Ft. Lauderdale airport. The drive to Orlando is about 4-5 hours depending on traffic. JohninDC Posted February 5, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2012 Most of the companies offer free shuttle service, or just cab to FLL for about $15 and ge tthe car there. Good luck! :)
VideoTech Posted February 5, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2012 You have 4 options: 1. buy your airport transfer from RCCL. You'll be on a "Greyhound" style bus with many others. 2. buy seats on the many shuttle services that run between PC and MCO. Search this forum for more info. 3. Hire your own car service. Most car services have everything from town cars to stretch limos to vans. 4. Rent a car. In this case, you will have to shuttle or taxi to the rental offices in Cocoa Beach to pick up your car, or cab over to FLL as suggested above. I do not think RC has an airport transfer from Ft Lauderdale to the Orlando airport. It is a 4 hour drive. Shuttle services won't do this trip either.
