Best place to get a bite to eat in Nassau?

I'm just curious where y'all like to eat in Nassau. We want something seriously authentic, no chicken fingers or burgers. :p Thanks in advance!

Head to the Fish Fry at Arawak Cay. It's a village of small shack like restaurants with a common area and common restrooms.

Oh Andros, Seafood Haven and Goldies are my favorites. But be aware.. these places are rustic.. and service is slow. Most take credit cards.. some don't.. so ask. .

You can grab a cab for $4pp/ or the #10 jitney for $1.25 pp. It's about 20 minute walk west of the downtown dock area.

How far are these places from the cruise ship pier, walkable?

Thanks again!

About a 20 minute walk West of port.

Just follow the wharf to Senor Frogs around the hilton hotel and past Junkanoo Beach.
