a creative addition to a mother's day bag?

We are helping my inlaws pay for their cruise, they have never been on one and after this in all likelihood never will again so I want to make it very special. For mother's day I bought her a nice beach bag and put suntan lotion in it, a beautiful photo album and hand sanitizer, a cruise guide book, so far, any ideas of other things I could add? I looked on ebay for princess items and the pickings are slim, :(

Maybe you could look for the thread (I think on the general cruise rituals) on packing tips. You can get great ideas for small items such as a highlighter (to mark activities on the patter) and over-the-door hanger, that no one thinks to pack.

I never thought of the highlighter, thast is a great idea since I bring them on our cruises, the search idea is a great one thank you!

 

to be honest I still don't get the over the door hanger, never needed one yet in seven cruises

You could add a lanyard to hold her cruise card.

You could go on Princess's website an get onboard credits. We did this for my mom for christmas- a bottle of wine, $50 casino credit, a formal portrait, and onboard credit good for dinner for 2 at the Bayou cafe. Then for her birthday we got her $75 to the spa for a massage. It came in handy on the cruise and was a real treat for her and her fiance!
