SweetCheeks Cruiser Posted February 8, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Does anyone know if the Carnival ships now carry Moscato wine by the glass? I saw they have bottles on the BonVoyage price list but wondered if you can get it on the ship.
mjl1960 Posted February 8, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2012 I believe that you can get it in the MDR by the glass, though we usually get a bottle of it and spread it out through the week. Last time we sailed on the Valor in November, they were out of stock, so we didn't get any.

SweetCheeks Cruiser Posted February 8, 2012 Author #6 Share Posted February 8, 2012 Yes, I had it on my cruise last week Thanks! It's a nice light wine and I had put it on a comment card a couple different times in the past. They must have listened. ;)

eedee Posted April 2, 2012 #8 Share Posted April 2, 2012 I love Moscato. Last year I carried a bottle on and my husband bought one on also. You would make out a lot better bringing your own onboard. We bought a cork screw from a gift shop.
Kutty1101 Posted April 2, 2012 #9 Share Posted April 2, 2012 I love Moscato, and am not a picky one when it comes to alcohol....BUT I had a glass of Moscato on the Glory (in the MDR), and it was nearly undrinkable. = (

Texaslandshark Posted April 2, 2012 #14 Share Posted April 2, 2012 A favorite of my wife's as well. Believe it or not Beringer makes a very good one for like under $5.00. One is white and the other is red. Worth bringing one onboard.;)
gawn Posted April 2, 2012 #15 Share Posted April 2, 2012 We like the "Asti" Moscato. Cupcake has a good one and Risata is also a good one. They seem to be alittle sweeter than regular Moscato.
maighdeanmhara Posted April 2, 2012 #16 Share Posted April 2, 2012 gawn, I totally second your Cupcake nom. Their Moscato is one of the best I've had, and at $10 a bottle, it's a steal! Next best would be Saracco. It's about $20 and also delicious! DH & I will be bringing the Cupcake Moscato and Cupcake Red Velvet (my current budget faves. )
Boatman10 Posted April 2, 2012 #17 Share Posted April 2, 2012 They had Castello del Poggio moscato on the Freedom last week. Not all bars have it.The casino bar,the lounge bar, and the MDR had. It is a very good moscato.
PrettyHazardous Posted April 2, 2012 #18 Share Posted April 2, 2012 They had Moscato by the glass on the Dream in January. Not my fave brand though I like Bartenurra (sp?). Also if your ship offers the wine tasting def go it's worth it at about $15 pp.

sp29488 Posted April 3, 2012 #25 Share Posted April 3, 2012 MDR Featured Wines: http://www.zydecocruiser.net/menus/new_11_11/MDR_Wine.jpg including a moscato. We were able to get a glass of Beringer White Zinfandel in the MDR on our Sept. cruise last year but I don't see it on your list above. I hope they still have it.
