Bringing beer to Island Princess

Does anyone know how things are now on Island Princess Alaska cruises (northbound from Vancouver)? My husband and I would like to have some decent beer (imported or microbrew) in our cabin. I read that it's OK to bring a couple of bottles of wine on board to drink in your cabin. What about beer?

 

(Their "Gift List" only lists Miller, Coors, etc. Not our type.)
