Car Rental & Helicopter Tour

Has anyone done the Helicopter Tour through Blue Hawaii Tours and rented a car in Hilo?

I have a car reserved to drive to Volcanos Natl Park. We are on the fence as to whether to do the Helicopter Tour or not. If anyone has done this, what time of day is the best to do the Helicopter? Should we drive around and do it last or do it first and then drive around?

There is no absolute best time since weather changes here in Hilo quite quickly, but you'll get a better chance of clear skys (more light) in the AMs preferably before 10AM.
