bluecruise1 Posted February 13, 2012 #26 Share Posted February 13, 2012 I'm loving the warmer winter we've had so far, too! But even with that, 50 degrees and moving south ---- is it going to be warm enough to use the pool on our first full day sailing? I don't think so but it would be great if we could. sara mom Posted February 19, 2012 Author #27 Share Posted February 19, 2012 Watching the captain and his crew guide us in. This day was a sleep in day for the kids...7:30! Yahoo! My DH had a private dive trip scheduled through Blue Island Divers. He loved it and would recommend them to anyone interested in a quality and professional dive shop in St Thomas. For me and the kids, we started by doing some shopping at the pier! T shirts oh plenty. After an hour of that we headed back on ship. It was wonderful being on an almost empty One of the pools was closed to guests as they were doing life boat type training with the crew. That was kind of fun to watch! The bar was almost empty....very easy for the kid to get soda .
sara mom Posted February 19, 2012 Author #28 Share Posted February 19, 2012 After our relaxing morning, we had a family afternoon excursion planned. It was through the ship...something called Sea Turtle Snorkeling (I think). The tour was 3 or 4 hours long. We left the pier and headed out to Buck Island on our 'pirate ship'. While snorkeling, we saw 6 sea turtles and assorted coral/fish. More of these things this trip. The boat we were on Kids got to 'drive' the boat back. Kids also got to be pirates....eye patches and tattoos.

clm1982 Posted May 5, 2015 #31 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Hi Saramom Sorry to bump up a really old thread. We have just booked these 2 rooms on explorer for March and im keen to see pictures if you have any. Or i was hoping you can answer this question for me please. Where abouts is the connecting door? If you had all 4 pullman beds down is the connecting door still able to be opened? I hope you see this!
