leahjade Posted April 18, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2005 Is there anywhere to parasail or swim with the dolphins - we're only in Key West for 6 hours so we can't go too far!
SEPyle Posted April 19, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2005 Here's a link for parasailing as well as snorkeling and even a dolphin watch: http://www.keywestwatersports.com/ They are located at the Wydham Casa Marina and I've both snorkeled and parasailed with them! Parasailing is really great-overlooking Key West! This last month we went on a snorkel trip with Key West Watersports. I was actually surprised snorkeling was so good. We went to Casteal Key (I know I murdered the spelling), which was really interesting. So so many fish, no need to feed them-they were simply everywhere. I kept hearing a crackling sound and later found it it was actually the Parrot fish, feeding on the coral! They were just hovering over the coral - really a great sight! There were also giant turtles! Key West Watersports also does a dolphin watch, but that might be later in the day. Enjoy your time in Key West! leahjade Posted April 20, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 20, 2005 Thanks for the info! Do you remember the price for the parasailing? The website says "under construction".
