Some years ago while sailing on the Spirit, on a sea day we had what could only be described as a chocolate extravaganza, A CHOCOHOLICS DREAM we are sailing on the Jade later this year and was just wondering if NCL still did this chocolate feast

As long as the cruise is long enough. It takes a week to creat it....

The Spirit has a "Chocoholic Buffet" in the Windows MDR on Friday night. I'll try to post some pics of it from our 1/15/2012 cruise later. Don't know about the Jade though.

That's a shame. The one on the Spirit had plenty of strawberries. Don''t remember any nuts though, other than my better half.:)

NCL and cruise lines in general are cutting costs at every corner. The chocolate buffet did not escape the cutbacks. They are now a shadow of what they used to be. Last month on the Star they shoehorned it into the buffet area. The buffet, are you kidding me? If you have seen the Star buffet you would know it has no style at all. The chocolate buffet in there was just sad.

 

The photos above are not chocolate. They are made of ceramic or wood or some such and are placed out every week. Not something you would or could want to eat.

Agreed...the Chocolate Buffet on the Spirit was great..and its been downhill ever since. Each time its more disappointing..I hope the SUN changes my mind.

A 4 day cruise would not have any type of Chocolate Buffet? Not even a mini one?
