Sorry! Another Early Saver Question

I've tried looking up past threads for the answer but couldn't find it. I have been watching and getting price drops-OBC credit. We are in a cove balcony. All of the cove balconies are gone now. Can you get credit for a price drop when the rate is for for a higher (8d) class or is it only for your exact class?
