Lunch in Mahahual?

Depending on your ship's schedule, you may not have a lot of time. I'd recommend you head for 100% Agave. It's off the beach a block. Taxi drivers should know where it is. But you can't go wrong there. Lots of reviews on this board.

Crewsweeper is right on target. We were there a few weeks ago and went to 100% Agave for lunch based on quite a few reviews on this board. Great food, awesome margaritas and cheap!:D

We just got back and our lunch here and it was fantastic. Fernando was gracious and saved my son from a hot pepper!! Thanks again. He will be moving in the next two weeks about 15 yards down the board walk. You can see the new site he will be on much bigger but he promises the atmosphere and great food will remain the same. This is a must do while there as well as a massage on the beach. Went to Blue Bay and for 40 min paid 20.00. Very quiet down that direction. Enjoy!!

We planned to eat there on March 15th, (in 17 days). Will 100% Agave be there or do we go to the new place. Will he be closed during the moving process? If the new place, what is the name of it? We would hate to miss him. The food was fantastic last time we were there.

sounds like the new place is near Tropicante. There were a bunch of empty store fronts in that area, used to be a seafood market and another restaurant on that block.

webprinter...unless someone comes back and reports before you leave, I suggest you head first to his old place. Tell the taxi driver, corner of Sierra and Huachinango. If you don't see the plastic 100% Agave Bottle, or th place looks empty, just turn back to Sierra and walk the 1/2 block to the malecon, turn right and walk down a block. If you still don't see it, stop at Tropicante (which you will see) and ask Steve Uhl where he moved too. We're all dying to know and to see pictures of the new spot.
