Stacey779 Posted February 22, 2012 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2012 We're looking at booking a pack and go rate for an upcoming sailing on the Miracle. I'm going to book a balcony guarantee room. My question is, if we later decide to splurge and upgrade to a suite, would we still be allowed to do that as long as we pay the difference? Does it matter if it's before or after our room is assigned? I'm guessing as long as we're willing to pay more they'll let us change to any other cabin, but I've never booked using a pack and go rate so I'm not sure. Thanks in advance. :)
BeccaBecca1713 Posted February 22, 2012 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2012 As long as you are upgrading it shouldn't be a problem. Since P&G requires full non-refundable payment, you just wouldn't be able to downgrade.
truchattycathy Posted February 22, 2012 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2012 As my PVP told me, they will always take more money. :)
golfadj Posted February 22, 2012 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Might not have any open suites later on.
big_duck Posted February 22, 2012 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2012 Even if there are suites available. That close to sailing, the cost may be astronomical.

firefly333 Posted February 22, 2012 #7 Share Posted February 22, 2012 You pay the difference between what you paid and the price of the suite .. not the difference between whatever the price currently is on the balcony you are assigned .. so it would not matter if you were assigned or not, as you use your actual cost. Stacey779 Posted February 23, 2012 Author #8 Share Posted February 23, 2012 Thanks everyone! We booked the pack & go and we'll probably just stick with whatever cabin we get assigned, but this is still good information to know.
