Seafood Variety

Hi all,

We sail on the Glory on 4/15/12. I was wondering if there are many opportunities to enjoy various shellfish? Shrimp, crab, oysters, scallops etc.. Beef is okay but I'm from RI, the Ocean State, and really enjoy this type of seafood whenever we dine out.

We haven't cruised in 20 years (NCL twice) and I remember the mid-night buffets with the mounds of shrimp. Do the cruise lines even do this anymore?

We are so looking forward to this trip!:cool:

Mach is so right, there is a pretty good selection/variety onboard. I enjoy the fish and seafood offerings on every cruise and the sushi is pretty darn good.

I love the seafood options on Carnival, but don't expect what you'll find in your seafood loving state. :)

It's not like Christie's in Newport. Much of the seafood on the ships is, like much of the U.S., imported from southeast Asia. :(

The lobster is the midget warm water variety, about 2-3 ounces each.
