Too late to get a price drop?

Hi- We've been checking the Carnival site everyday for months looking for a price drop. Our cabin category has actually gone up instead of down..UNTIL this week. We set sail on the Glory in 7 days. Though it's hard to say if it will drop below the ES rate we received, if it does is it too close to sailing to receive OBC for the drop?

Carnival says they offer price protection up to 2 business days prior to sailing...
