Kauai beach fr port POA?

Looks like on the map we could possibly walk from the Nawalli (spelling) port from the Pride of Aloha to a beach that begins with a K ...does anyone know if that is a possibility?

It's possible to walk from the port in Nawiliwili to Kalapaki Beach which fronts the Kauai Marriott. People that have done it have said that it's a walk primarily through an industrial area with a lot of broken glass on the asphalt but it's doable - about a 15-20 minute walk or so. Kalapaki Beach is nice to sit on to watch the ocean - and you have the advantage of having the Kauai Marriott's services nearby if you want anything. Wouldn't recommend it for snorkeling though.

My family spent a nice day there swimming and boogie boarding last year. There is a nice Marriott hotel there and some nice places to shop and eat as well. I agree, definitely not a great snorkeling spot, but we went there so the boys could have some body surfing time.
