Hey i will be sailing on may 22 on the pride. I was wondering can you see land when on the mexican riviera cruise. From the pic at the carnival site it seems like you are close to shore. So anybody that has been on this cruise, how far do they sail out. and can you see land the whole cruise.

You can see the mountains in Baja during the daytime going and returning. Once the ship passes Cabo, you see very little land as the ships sail mostly at night.

Agree with previous poster. However, while we were sailing close to land, we saw lots of dolphins and whales. It was awesome. We clearly saw the arch of Cabo. Can't wait until our NCL Star cruise on 01/12/06!
