Best port for zip linning?

Roatan. It is the most beautiful of the 4 places. Do the extreme pirates of Carribean zip line.

Definitely Roatan. Have zip-lined Pirates and South Shore - both great!

I've zipped in Roatan, Icy Straits and St. Kitts. Roatan was great with about 14 platform changes and ending up on the beach!!! Would do that again!!

 

Icy Straits was straight down a mile at 60 mph. Definitely a thrill. Would do that again.

 

St Kitts was good for beginners, which I convinced 4 of my friends to do.

We did the zip lining in Belize maybe four years ago, and if I am remembering correctly, there was a pretty long bus ride over a bumpy dirt road. The zip-lining was great, but about tossing your cookies to and from, not so much :eek:

 

ETA: I went back to look at my Facebook album, it was Belize, and the bus ride was over an hour long. Not sure if it's the same excursion now though.

I totally agree with Roatan. We've Ziplined there twice & LOVED them both. Did two different lines.

 

We didn't book with anyone. we found a Taxi driver that gave us a rate for the day & he took us where we wanted to go & waited for us. Of course, the zip fee was not included but it wasn't bad...$50-60pp.

 

You will LOVE Roatan!! It's one of our favorite ports.

 

As for Victor Bodden, we've never used him but have heard good things about him & his tours.
