Bicycle Tour in Nassau?

We are interested in possibly doing a bicycle tour when we are in Nassau next year (during the winter months). Would a bike tour be a wise option to pursue? If so, is there a tour company/guide that anyone has had a positive experience with?

Bicycle tour as in off road tour, as we don't want to become speed bumps on route of the road system...lol

I cannot imagine riding a bike in Nassau. We rented scooters. BF is an experienced Harley rider and even he commented the traffic is a lot to deal with.

 

They don't have the same pedestrian - biker friendly attidue we have in the states. If you get in the way, they will run you over and likely won't stop to check for a pulse LOL.

 

The sidewalks would be impossible to ride on because there a tons of tourists.

 

Perhaps there is a tour company that will take you on a bike ride away from all the maddness? But, NO WAY would I attempt a bike in town where all the action is. Just too dangerous.
