Bed Bugs

This morning (4/22) on the Today Show they told how bed bugs can be carried from your motel in your luggage or in your own pillow etc. So if you stay in a motel the night before your cruise, YES you can take bed bugs onboard with you so it does not always mean the ship is at fault if one does have this problem. If you stay in a motel after the cruise you can take bugs home with you :p

Since all we've heard about is one cabin on each of the affected ships, I suspect that they were brought on by the passengers (unintentionally, of course). Doesn't sound to me like an outbreak on the ships.
