soccerstar1288 Posted April 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Hello everyone. We are booked on the Caribbean Princess for December 2005. I am thinking about taking a cruise on the Brilliance to the Panama Canal. 1) What is the ship like? 2) How is a trip to the panama canal? 3) Is it expensive during the holidays? 4) Can a 18 year old use the Solarium? Thanks Joe :)
hdawson Posted April 22, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2005 Brilliance is the prettiest ship I've seen out of 16 cruises.
Honey's Gal Posted April 22, 2005 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2005 I haven't been on the Brilliance, but I have been on the Serenade thru the Panama Canal and it was one of the best cruises we have taken. The radiance class ships are the most beautiful and perfect for going thru the canal. I highly recommend it, it is so amazing to watch the ship in front of you to venture thru the canal and then have your ship follow. You just have to see it. Yes, an 18 year old can use the solarium, actually, they can do quite alot on board I understand
momma kay Posted April 23, 2005 #4 Share Posted April 23, 2005 We just returned from the 10 day Panama Canal Cruise on the Brilliance. There were 3 couples in our group and we all agreed that this was the best vacation we ever had. The canal is amazing!!! The ship just fits through. You can almost touch the canal workers. We chose to take the Grand tour of Panama which was also very interesting. It was very warm and humid in both Panama and Costa Rica. The ship is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. I cannot find the words to describe how much I enjoyed this cruise. Hope you have a great cruise experience too.:)
