Rip Tide alert for Nassau Beaches

Recommended Posts

We have a rip tide alert for beaches in Nassau. This is especially for Atlantis Main beach, Cabbage Beach, Goodman Bay, Saunders Beach and come beaches east of the Cable Beach Resorts. Beaches will likely be red flagged (closed)

This should not affect the harbour Beaches, Junkanoo, Hilton, or the Sheraton/Wyndham or Blue Lagoon island.

This should also not affect snorkeling boat tours.

This could last for 10 days or so. Depending on the crazy weather.

Thanks for the update! You really should get commission from everywhere on Nassau!

We'll be at the Sheraton in 16 days and I'm glad to see that Sheraton isn't (at least usually) affected by it.

Sheraton is somewhat protected by a reef system about a mile from shore.. THey also created their own rock walls that break the wakes.

You can still get some rough waves, but you have lifeguards that will be on target to keep you safe.

Something the other beaches do NOT have.
