Sky Penthouse - Forward or Aft

Recommended Posts

We have booked a forward penthouse on the Sky (9002) but are now considering trying to switch to aft. There are 3 of us and we are concerned about the wind on the forward balcony and that the balcony has a partial steel wall that blocks the view unless you are standing.

We want to spend a lot of time on the balcony

Your thoughts?

Thanks

Definately aft balcony if you plan on spending time there

The Aft penthouse balconies curve and are larger than the forward. I believe the forward penthouses have a different design inside and may be a tad smaller? Or something is different (cant remember)

If you want to use the balcony then Aft is the way to go. Each aft penthouse is on a corner. The forward penthouses are between owner suites so they dont have the extra large balcony.

We loved the aft suites for the great balconies, being able to see where we've been, the lack of traffic. Be aware the concierge will ignore you, we didn't care. We had all reservations done for ourselves and saved her tip(both times). You also will not get the best butler. Again, know what perks you have paid for and make sure you get them!

Not my experience on the Sky. There are only a handful of suites and the concierge would check in with us EVERY DAY at breakfast and then again in the evening. The concierge on Sky is fantastic but that was when Ann Marie was there
