How many ships can dock in Cozumel?

We are considering 2 different Coral Princess sailings for next winter, and both stop in Cozumel. On our preferred sailing in February (better date for us and lower fare), 5 other ships will be in Cozumel on the same day as the Coral Princess. Some recent reviews have indicated that the Coral Princess needed to tender in Coz because so many other ships were in port that day -- anyone know if there is room for 6 ships to dock at the same time? If not, we would consider the earlier sailing, when only 3 other ships will be in Cozumel the same day as the Coral Princess.

TIA!

Thanks so much for the information, Jim and Sally. The stop in Cozumel is one of the main reasons we chose the Coral Princess for our round trip Panama Canal sailing, and some recent reviewers indicated that they needed to tender in Coz, and their port time was really shortened (and excursions were all cancelled). Sound like we should be OK with either option. Any difference in the weather between Jan and Feb? Thanks

We were in Cozumel on 4/12. The cab driver we used said around Christmas time there are as many as 15 ships in port at the same time (between the 3 different piers).

We were lucky. We only had 2 ships on the day we were there.
