My family is going to Nassau and Freeport in May on the Glory. Can you walk to the Sheraton in Nassau or need taxi and how much?. In Freeport can you go the beach across the steet from the Marketplace? How did you get there?

In Nassau we did walk to a nearby beach from the port. Not sure if it was the Sheraton though.

You need a taxi to go to Sheraton. The only big hotel in walking distance that I can think of off the top of my head is the British Colonial Hilton.

You need transportation to get to the Sheraton as its at cable beach.Its about 15 minutes away by taxi or jitney.

 

Jitney is about $1.50pp. You can get it on Bay st I believe. Walkalong the water towards the straw market,go left til u come to the green Hasten dash place. You want the #10.
