Re: the pier......everything back to normal now?

was wondering if someone could tell us if things are back to normal there after the mishap with the Grandeur this past week....didn't appear to be much damage to the pier itself

What was the mishap with the Grandeur? We were at Costa Maya on Monday, April 18 and everything looked fine but since we had never been there before, maybe there was something I missed! Or maybe it happened after we left?

I believe it happened on Wed when they came into the dock.........the ship was 'blown' into the concrete pier .......looked like the pier just had some crumbed concrete to show for it but the ship had a hole/gash on the side......no one was injured from what I heard.......

did read where they closed up the pier shops for a time while they were still in port having repairs made........
