Transportation from Belize to USA or Isla Roatan

We will be on an Independent Tour in Belize. The next port of call is Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan-Honduras. What is the best way to get to Isla Roatan Honduras or get back to the USA from Belize, just in case we miss the ship.

Someone had mentioned taking a bus from Belize, to Cancun Mexico, then fly back to the USA via Cancun. Any suggestions are appreciated.

absolutely dont have an answer for you, but someone at the Port Authority could best be able to find a way to get you to either Roatan or the US..

 

 

Remember you will need to have a passport to fly anywhere, so if you think there is the smallest possibility you could get stuck, make sure you have them, along with a credit card!!

 

I believe it is rare that folks are left behind due to tour operators, unless something REALLY goes badly. These businesses can't afford to have mistakes like that happen. Most often I think it is the fault of the 'home of the Yard Longs'... :D

I would catch a cab to the Philip S.W. Goldson International Airport and check with with one of the following airlines about a flight out:

 

• American Airlines
  
• Continental
  
• Delta
  
• US Airways
  

 

But a 6.5 hour bus ride to Cancun sounds like fun too! Think of the adventure you'd have as well as some cool photos!
