My youngest son will turn 12 on April 5th when we are on the Glory, does Carnival do anything special for birthdays?

You can order a birthday cake and/or room decorations through the website. We ordered a cake for my daughter. It wasn't very big, but it was enough to make her happy. I think it was around $7.

Maybe have the room decorated also.

The dining room staff sang Happy Bird day two shoes... for me. It was great. Loved it. I also got a sparkler on my dessert.

If you order the cake and have it delivered to your table in the MDR at dinner they will sing Happy Birthday and make the birthday person feel special. If he is in any of the activites for his age group you might want to also tell the coord. can't say if they will do anything but you never know. If you choose not to buy decorations from gifts and services you can also bring on your own decorations and decorate his cabin including the door!
