raiderrob Posted March 15, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Hello, Hitting Hawaii for 16 days and was wondering what I should expect to pay for parking at Canada Place for the 16 days? Should I go for a monthly pass? Or is there a cruise special? Any information is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Putterdude Posted March 15, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2012 Here is a schedule of the rates at Canada Place...ooch http://www.vinciparkcanadaplace.ca/rates.html You may care to consider parking out at the airport in one their lots and going back and forth on the Canada Line. You could drop your luggage off at the pier and then go out to the airport, park and return. http://www.yvr.ca/en/getting-to-from-yvr/parking.aspx

There is at least one downtown hotel offering park and stay packages (Coast Plaza near Stanley Park); but I suspect if you contact some of the out of downtown hotels you'd probably find more. You could always find somewhere out near Metrotown, Lougheed Mall or Brentwood Mall, and just ride Skytrain into town. The escalators from the Expo/Millenium line platforms are 1/2 block from the front of Canada Place.
Putterdude Posted March 16, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 16, 2012 Other hotels that offer Stay and Park packages in the downtown area include the Hampton Inn on Robson St. and the Best Western - Downtown on Drake St., these offer 7 days of parking free but there are charges for the extra days....they also offer a free shuttle to and from the pier. There certainly hotels out by the airport that similar packages but no shuttle into the pier so you would be schlepping your luggage on the Canada Line. Accent Inns who operate properties in both Richmond (near the airport) and Burnaby also offer Stay and Park packages with transportation to the pier. http://www.hamptoninnvancouver.com/ http://www.bestwesterndowntown.com/ http://www.accentinns.com/
