CruiseBud Posted April 24, 2005 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2005 Some of us who surfed in the 60's want to try our skills (luck) at surfing again. I know there are at least four good surfing spots around the Puerto Limon area. Does anybody know of any hotels that rent surfboards for the day. We will have about 12 hours to "ride the wild surf"! Steve :)
radiofreebc Posted April 24, 2005 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2005 Go to Jaco. That's a cool little surf-town that might be better than Limon.
CruiseBud Posted April 24, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted April 24, 2005 Thanks for the suggestion. I visit www.wannasurf.com, and am very aware that Jaco is probably one of the best, if not the best surfing in Costa Rica. However, we will be will be limited on time, and want to stick close to the Puerto Limon area. Thanks for the help anyway, Steve :)
palmtre2 Posted June 7, 2005 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2005 InsideCostaRica.com says the Caribbean surfing mecca is Puerto Viejo de Talamanca.
