self assist?

Recommended Posts

Last year we sailed on Carnival's Ecstacy and they offered a "self assist" program that allowed you to carry your own luggage off the ship the day of debarkation. Does anyone know if RC has this same type of program. It sure did save us some time and hassle.

When we sailed on the Voyager in February they offered "Travel Lite". This program allowed passengers to take their own luggage off the ship. Program is great if you do in fact pack light. But beware if you have a lot of luggage. Elevators were jam packed with passengers and their luggage. Many passengers who wanted to take advantage of this new service waited for a LONG time for an elevator. But, if you can manage your own stuff, you will be off the ship early. Travel Lite passengers are still given colored tags for disembarking, but they were the first groups called.
