You are in the rainforest so it is a lot of foliage. When you get to the top, you have the opportunity to zipline down to the middle, take the tram back down or walk down a path and cross a huge rope bridge. (which is what we did). The scenery was breathtaking! We really enjoyed the tour. It was very informative and beautiful. Hope this helps.

There is lots and lots of foliage. All different kinds of trees, shrubs, ferns, etc. No wildlife, no birds... You get off one stop before the top if you are going to zipline, otherwise you proceed to the top, then get off and then walk down through the rainforest to where you stopped if you were going to zipline. You do cross over what I think it a 200' above the bottom of the gorge bridge. At one point coming down you could see a glimpse of the sea for a moment. It poured down rain on us most of the way down. The trams are covered but leak. We laughed about it - it is a rainforest!

Saw some hummingbirds at the bottom where you get off. It was a long ride there and back. Very bumpy and dangerous in places because the road was washed out. We stopped somewhere along the way at a souvenier place dug into the side of the road.

Overall it was a nice day, not quite was I was looking for having done this on other islands. Our driver was excellent and friendly as was everyone we encountered. We walked all around the outside market that wove in and out of buildings and bought several things and never felt uneasy at all. We are scheduled to return on a cruise in December, so currently looking for something else this time.

Overall it was a pleasant enough excursion and you certainly see a lot of the island, so I don't regret doing it.
