AlexsDogPound Posted March 18, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2012 I've printed the menus out for a 7 day cruise, but trying to figure out which night to do the steakhouse, so if anyone knows what menu we will have twice is much appreciated. cruisenanny Posted March 18, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 18, 2012 There is an actual menu for the 8th day, none are duplicated. You can see it at zydecocruiser.com.
ChefSusan Posted March 18, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 18, 2012 None of the menus are duplicated, as Carnival has a plethora of menu items to choose from. We just pick a night to go to the Steakhouse and if we miss something special on the menu, so be it.
KelliKevin Posted March 18, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Be careful though cause the 8th day can be inserted in different places. On our last cruise the 8th day menu was served on the 5th day.
golfadj Posted March 18, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 18, 2012 They always have interesting items on the menu each day so we pick a day to go if we so desire and if we miss something that is ok too.

happy cruzin Posted March 18, 2012 #8 Share Posted March 18, 2012 Oh do you have a link to the "8 day" Menu?? I will be on my FIRST 8 day cruise in Sept Thanks in advance !!! Here ya go - compliments of Sargent Schultz: http://www.zydecocruiser.net/menus/new_11_11/index.htm Current menus - WITH photos ;) :D Just remember that the menus can be in any order on your ship. So the first one is not necessarily Day 1 :o But...its a pretty safe bet that the two dinner menus with the Prime Rib are the elegant nights! ;)
happy cruzin Posted March 18, 2012 #9 Share Posted March 18, 2012 They always have interesting items on the menu each day so we pick a day to go if we so desire and if we miss something that is ok too. Us too....except that I have managed to miss my favorite dessert the last TWO times - using the "oh well..." method! :o  LOL....gonna try to be more selective this next time!! ;) :D
ajhunt2 Posted March 19, 2012 #10 Share Posted March 19, 2012 My theory is, no matter what's being served in the MDR, is in no way comparable to the giant lobster tail I'm getting in the steakhouse :-)
