Bonnie J. Posted March 21, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 21, 2012 All ships have laundry services you pay for- a lot. Self service laundries are usually not available on the older ships. Ships with laundries have washers, dryers and irons for passengers to use. Suggest you go to your Roll Call here and see if anyone has been on your ship! They could answer your questions. johneeo Posted March 21, 2012 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2012 All ships have laundry services you pay for- a lot. I find the pricing about the same as my local dry cleaner. I consider it quite the bargain if you need some shirts or pants done.
jamessemaj Posted March 21, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 21, 2012 The Emerald has plenty of self-serve laundry rooms. The machines take quarters. As for availability timing is key, i.e. port days vs. sea days, etc.
Rare LHT28 Posted March 21, 2012 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2012 You may want to go the River cruise forum http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=191 Scenic has no self serve laundry but there is a laundry price list on their website http://scenictours.com/destination/european-river-cruises/ships-suites/ Look at the bottom of the page for the laundry list Lyn

beachnut41955 Posted March 21, 2012 #7 Share Posted March 21, 2012 I was just looking again at the deck plan for the Emerald - I will be sailing on her in a few weeks. Our cabin is on the Aloha deck and there is a self service laundry facility on that deck according to what it shows on the deck plan.

Scenic Emerald does not have an Aloha deck they only have 3 decks As mentioned above this ship is a river cruise ship http://scenictours.com/destination/european-river-cruises/ships-suites/
