lauderdale restaurants - close to pier 66

any thoughts on any type food restaurants that are close to pier 66 that are reasonable and good for dinner? I figure we are in a tourist spot so expect to pay a little more. Not looking for fast food.

looking for local input here :)

not looking to drive anywhere but a short walk would be fine.

I looked on open table and yelp and there are a bunch.

I would be inclined to take the Water Taxi to the 15th St Fisheries....be sure and ask the crew for the coupons.

Take the water taxi to Bahi Mar and try Casablanca or the Oasis.

I asked the very same question for my upcoming cruise in a couple of weeks. Below is the thread I started asking for restaurant suggestions in the Pier 66 area of FLL. The answers provided enabled me to decide where I should have my pre-cruise dinner.

I note that some of the above posters are recommending that you take utilize the water taxi to go to 15th Street Fisheries. It is worth noting that while they discount the fare after 5:00 p.m. to something like $11.00 that is per person. So, that mode of transportation can be rather pricey to go two stops on the water taxi when a cab would probably only cost $11.00 in total for all people in your party. Just a thought....

Water taxi is $10 dollars after 5 but such a nice ride and you get the narration about all of the mansions. Bob
