Kids-program?

We will be cruising on the OAS with our 10 yr DD in May. My question is, will there be enough to keep her busy and having fun in her program? We went on a Disney cruise a couple of years ago and she never wanted to leave. Plus, the club was open a lot later. Any information would be great!!!

My 7 and 9 year olds went to Adventure Ocean twice during our 7 day cruise.

They get a list of activities on their bed the night before. We would go over their "compass" to see if there was anything that they wanted to do. The club is FREE until 10, after that you can pay $3 per hour.

I expected my kids 9 and 10 to be in there every minute possible. Ended up we had so many other things to do that they only went in about 3-4 times overall. Of course, we travelled with friends and my kids wanted to spend time with their friends vs in the kids clubs. Very different from what I anticipated.

 

They enjoyed the kids clubs - but many of the activities weren't particularly unique or exciting, just a lot of games they play in their afterschool program at home. A LOT of variations of dodgeball. Don't get me wrong, they had fun with it.....I just expected more I guess.

 

As far as I can tell, on our 5 day cruise on the Liberty of the Seas, there was no Adventure Theatre (which my DD had wanted) or Scratch DJ Academy for the Voyagers age group. They did really enjoy the Rock n Roll Night where they went to the disco and Sports night where they went up to the Sports Deck to play.
