Hi Folks - given that we're departing on Friday the 13th, I'm wondering if anyone knows who the captain of the Disney Magic is. I'm hoping he's not Italian, since you know what happened to the Costa Concordia on Friday the 13th!

 

Also, what is the latest time you can disembark? My parents will be picking us up at the port and want to give them an idea of when we'll be off the ship. Could anyone suggest a good meeting spot at the port so they can just drive in and pick us up?

We'll be on the same cruise with you. I think it's kind of neat that we'll be setting sail on Friday the 13th; it give our voyage kind of a special "edge." Also, we'll be at sea on the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic (April 15th). How cool is THAT? :D

AND, we're flying to Florida to catch our cruise on the anniversary of the maiden Space Shuttle flight! I'm psyched! :D

Well Bus Man you are an adventurer just like us. Thankfully we won't be sailing off the coast of Newfoundland, so chances are slim we'll hit an iceberg!:)
