Passion Island good snorkeling?

need to know if I should bring the gear on the Twister...

I can't imagine it being good with as much nautral sand is there. Also of all the snorkeling/diving I have done on Cozumel no one has ever mentioned it, all the operators tend to stay south of town Passion Island is actually North of town.

 

I have taken a tour of the Mangroves N. of passion island however, very beautful area...

No snorkeling. The beach and water are beautiful, but no fish to see. I really enjoyed this excursion.
