Triumph Wi-Fi

How is the wireless internet on the Triumph in guest areas and cabins? I understand that ship internet is generally slow and underwhelming. But my girlfriend is a crew member on board and the crew internet is absolutely terrible. She can't get wireless in her cabin half the time, it occasionally goes down for hours at a time, and even in the crew lounge it is sometimes hit and miss. I'm hoping the guest wireless internet is a little more reliable.

I have been on Triumph 4 times so far, 13 of those days I had my laptop. I only ever used it on my cabin, which was on either on deck 9 or 10. Most of the time it was slow as.. yeah. Then the last time (a couple weeks ago) I left it at home, and only used the internet cafe once a day or so. In the cafe, it was even slower than when I used it with my laptop. My husband and I have made friends with one of the casino hosts and his girlfriend and they have said it is slow for them as well. :/

 

I wish there were a way for them not to charge for the 2 minutes that you are staring at a blank screen waiting for something to load. That's internet in the middle of the ocean for ya.. :rolleyes:

 

OH, as far as it going down, that has happened to me at least once during each cruise. Two of the times it was after we just left Cozumel and the other couple times it was just on one of the sea days. It's apparently common.
