FloatingSunGoddess Posted March 29, 2012 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2012 We plan on asking Maitre D to assign us a table for 2 when we get on the ship...should we tip him if he honors our request on the spot or wait until the end of the cruise? How much should we tip? Thanks:);)
6 of us Posted March 29, 2012 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2012 We called carnival & requested a table for 2, because it was our anniversary cruise, a few weeks before we cruised so it was a done deal :D.

Fyi, you can email him at prmaitred@carnival.com with your booking details and request your two top.
runner15km Posted March 29, 2012 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2012 I would say it would be appropriate to tip him/her at the end of the cruise.

bluehenfan Posted March 29, 2012 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2012 I would put this request in now and than follow up on 1st day of cruise. I made similar request on the Pride a couple years ago and after boarding went to MDR to check and it was a large table for 6 or 8 people. When I mentioned I'd made request 2 months earlier we were moved to a table for two.
