Bringing Duty Free on board

We are booked on Grand Princess Voyage A220 to the Mediterranean in June. I'm fond of Spanish Brandy and the better brands are not easy to find in the UK, but I know I'll be able to get them in Barcelona. I don't want to drink it on the ship - it's to bring home. Can I bring this back on board? We are booked in a suite - are the rules any different?

You should not have a problem. There are two things that might happen. First (most likely) the brandy will be ignored, you will take it to your room and then home with you.

The less likely occurance would be that they will take it at the gangway, store it until the last night then deliver it to your cabin. You would then take it home with you.

Same result either way
