April Egypt Excursions

My wife and I are booked on the Whisper cruise to the Middle East in April and are curious about the status of the excursions in Egypt. Has anyone heard anything about what excursions might be canceled due to political unrest? I don't know if other cruise lines are currently visiting the Pyramids or Luxor. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Are you on the 4209 from Dubai? We are also on board and have booked the Luxor tour and one in Alexandria. Heard nothing sofar and are pretty relaxed - Egypt is not Syria, but obviously things can change quickly...

My husband and I have just returned from Istanbul to Athens on Wind - a fabulous trip. The excursions in Egypt all ran as planned, although the ship had to delay sailing by over two hours from Port Said as the people on the Cairo trip were two hours late getting back due to traffic.
