Ryndam Port: Topolobampo

I did a search on this port but not much was posted--all from August 2004. Has anyone been there more recently? We are not interested in the Copper Canyon tour, so other than taking on of the Los Mochis excursions, is it possible to get from T-----to Los Mochis via the public busses? we are thinking of this cruise in late Nov or early Dec. Would appreciate any information and/or web sites that could provide info. Thanks! hmh:)

I hope someone answers you. We will be on the Ryndam in late October. I am not interested in the Canyon Tour, but wondered what I would do all day/night. Maybe someone will answer this weekend.

Thanks for chiming in on this, Fred. I just read somewhere, probably in a Mexico tour book, that there are 2nd class busses which do go between T--and Los Mochis, frequently. Probably similar to the ones in PV or even Maz.

 

Someone posted earlier about Loreto, and LaPaz, but evidently they went before the Topolobompo/Los Mochis port was added to the itinerary. Since this seems new, maybe not many people have been there. We were on HAL's first cruise up the Orinoco River and the place where they docked there was FAR from the closest town--the cruise was interesting, however. Ciao!! hmh
