swokie Posted April 1, 2012 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2012 After you have booked and paid for a ship sponsored excursion can you cancel and get a refund? Having second thoughts on one, but no big deal if we can't. Just curious.

cb at sea Posted April 1, 2012 #3 Share Posted April 1, 2012 I believe there is a time limit....like 24 or 48 hours prior, but you can get a refund!
BamaboyinUT Posted April 2, 2012 #4 Share Posted April 2, 2012 You definitely can. I had to cancel one last week and the money has already been put back onto my card. I believe you can even cancel them once on board and get OBC.
k2excursion Posted April 2, 2012 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2012 Yes, as long as it is not within the cutoff window, which is either 5 days before sailing or 3 days. It's switched before, so I don't know which it is right now. You can also cancel an excursion once you get on board, but you are then subject to a 25% cancellation penalty. And, no refunds are given within 24 hours of arrival into port (unless, of course, the tour operator or Carnival cancels the excursion).
