Intercontinental Hotel

I'm almost about to book this hotel for our post cruise (8/21-24). The pictures look amazing. Are they deceiving? Is this hotel "all that"?

 

Any comments are greatly appreciated for it is $239/night (travelocity)

I lucked out last year and got a terrific rate over Easter weekend thru priceline. The pools are terrific- it has a full spa/ salon just off to the side of the pool. The rooms are large and comfortable. Just make sure that you get a room with a garden/ pool view, not street ( you can hear the traffic and planes approaching the airport)

Go directly to their website and you will be able to get a better deal I think. That's what I did last year, and will do again this year when we stay there. I really liked the Intercontinental very much. We booked a pool view room, and were upgraded to an ocean view with no extra charge. Good luck, and I think you will be very pleased with the property.

It is a very nice hotel... The rate sounds about right... I think you can do better though...
