First Time in Cozumel

Will be going to Cozumel for the first time and am looking for suggestions.

Are there any places where I can get good prices on alcohol? I have been to the caribbean many times, and can find really good deals at the stores there. I also like my jewelry, so would like suggestions as to where I could get good prices on that also.

Someone mentioned some huge store that is like the United States' version of Costco, but he did not mention the name. Said you could get really good deals on alcohol there. If anyone knows what he might be talking about, I would greatly appreciate it. Supposed to be a huge store that sells everything.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've always found great prices at the pier area stores - why waste limited vacation time and cab fare trying to save a few $$ by heading to some out of the tourist zone store?

FTLCruiseGal, you're probably thinking of Los Cinco Soles. It is a big store selling souvenirs, artwork, vanilla, pottery, clothing, tequila etc. Fun place. Pancho's Backyard is right next to it, so you can enjoy a beverage before you leave. I could have spent the whole afternoon (and a fortune) there if I'd had the time.
